Most domestic Solar Panel installations take no more than 2 days with minimum disruption. Typically, the scaffolding will be erected a couple of days before the Solar PV installation team arrives. We will then mount the panels on the roof and install the inverter, batteries and EV charger if ordered. Finally carrying out the internal wiring.
Solar PV panels alone will not give you electricity 24 hours a day as they only produce electricity in daylight hours. You would need a battery system as well as Solar PV panels to be able to come off-grid.
All systems we install have monitoring platforms available and accessed through mobile Apps or web browsing
Unless you are home to take advantage whilst your solar is generating any surplus energy is put back into the electricity grid. Export tariffs are available for payment of this surplus energy but due to low rates it is usually more efficient to store that surplus energy in a battery for when you need it the most.
